Daniel Vitalis is a seeker of life-longevity and is often heard discussing medicinal herbs and foods which can aid in a longer, healthier life. In a recent interview by raw foodist, Matt Monarch, Daniel touches on a few foods that he considers to be important to live your best life.

One of the "superfoods" discussed in the interview is colostrum... which is referred to as "immune-milk" by Daniel Vitalis and his back-to-earth way of life. Colostrum, in its greatest form is designed (by Mother Nature) to protect new-borns against disease, and at it's purest state, has a much higher concentration of protein while maintaining a lower fat content than that of the milk that comes after the colostrum has depleted. Daniel offers this in his product line in a powder form, careful to preserve all the bountiful nutrients present in it's original state.

The colostrum from Surthrival, is said to only come from bovine. Reasons for the cow-specific harvesting of this "golden elixir," (Daniel makes reference to this on his website), is because a lot of the essential nutrients needed to pass to the calf are not done so in the womb, like humans do, and therefore must be given by the mama to the calf after birth. The bovine colostrum is also said to be quite compatible with most other species without a whole lot of negative side effects.

Now, since many of us meat-eaters already ingest so much of a cow for nutrition, and if it's proven that negative side effects are rare, one might say 'what's the harm in trying?' Obviously we know where Daniel Vitalis stands on this one.. he also states on his website that the colostrum of the cow is said to have a very low lactose content since it is not actually milk, so people with an aversion to lactose are even invited by Surthrival to give it a go.

Colostrum is, according to Daniel one of the top three most regenerative substances found on earth today, offering benefits in the way of anti-aging and a high level of pro-biotic concentration. Daniel's line of colostrum, it should also be noted, is a processed colostrum. According to the founder, this means that it is able to come from many different cows, thus offering a larger range of immunities than possible if it were simply harvested from one cow and offered up in raw form. This is just one way that Daniel says makes Surthrival stand out from its competitors.

Another way in which Daniel's Surthrival brand differs from others who advertise this valuable product, is that he promises that his colostrum is at its truest state, allowing the consumer to get the most nutritional benefit.. according to Daniel, "True Colostrum" is true when it is harvested within 6 hours after birth and claims his product to be verifiably "6-hour" colostrum. He does also like to make note that Surthrival only takes colostrum from the cow after the calf/calves have had their necessary intake(s). Surthrival prides itself on being environmentally and ethically fair to all living things.

While Matt and Daniel may make some comical references about the women in their life during the interview, make no mistake: Daniel is very serious about educating anyone who will listen about the many benefits of this product.
